Here is the practice schedule for the next week or so:
Tuesday Aug 31: 3:45 to 6:15 pm
Wednesday Sept. 1 : 4:45 pm! Dual meet with GL. We're going to need parental help, please. Meet starts at 6:00
Thursday Sept. 2: 5:45 to 7:00 am and 3:45 to 5:15 pm. This is football game day, we have students in the band(s) so we're treating this like a Friday
Friday Sept 3: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Saturday sept 4: No Practice. Have a good weekend!
Monday Sept 6: 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
Tuesday Sept 7 -Thursday 9: 3:45-6:15 School starts! Organize and prioritize.
Friday Sept 10: 5:30-6:45 am and 3:45 - 5:15 pm.
Saturday Sept 11: 8:30 warm up. Holt quad. NO BUS on weekends! Get yourselves to Holt HS, Meet starts at 10:00 am.

Swim schedule for the near future:
Monday's - Thursday's 3:45 - 6:15 PM
Friday's AM 5:30 - 6:45 AM, 3:45 -5:15 pm
Saturdays AM 8:30 - 11:30 AM
Wednesday Aug. 25: Waverly Relays. Parents we need your help, anytime after 3:00. Swimmers be there by 4:30.

The season begins on Wednesday, August 11.
Practice times until further notice:
8:00 - 9:30 am
4:00 - 6:00 pm
Waverly HS Pool.
Wednesday AM: A brief meeting then a short warm-up. After that we'll do a 100 yard time trial from the blocks.
If any four swimmers times added together are faster than 4:15 then practice is over! LETS MAKE THAT HAPPEN!

Congratulations to Alyssa Mazurek and Tina Isaac for earning Academic All-American honors. Both girls far exceeded the minimun requirement of a 3.75 grade point average over their 4 year academic career.
Outstanding work, Ladies!

Congratulations go out to Corey Rubino and Steven Walker for making the Coaches and media All Area Honorable mention Boys Swim Team.
Both Ruby and Walker also earned First Team All Conference honors in both of their events at the recent CAAC Red Divison Championship Meet.
Way to go, guys, nice work!!
